OKF Bundle Maker ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting the privacy of merchants who install our app and use our services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you install and use the App in connection with your Shopify store.

1. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we automatically collect specific information from your Shopify account to provide our catalog structuring service:

• Shop Details: Your shop's permanent domain name (e.g., store-name.myshopify.com) and shop ID.
• OAuth Access Token: The authorization credential used to securely communicate with Shopify APIs on your behalf.
• Catalog Data: Public product details (titles, descriptions, handles, prices, and inventory availability) and collection listings. We do NOT collect or store customer information, orders, billing details, or checkout data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected store and catalog information solely to provide and maintain our services:

• To generate structured, machine-readable Open Knowledge Format (OKF) index files of your products and collections.
• To host these catalog indexes securely off-site for AI search assistants and web crawlers to read and index.
• To listen to catalog webhooks and keep your hosted OKF files dynamically updated in real time.

3. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or distribute your private store data or credentials to third parties. The compiled markdown catalog index files generated by the App are hosted publicly to allow search crawlers and AI assistants to index them, matching the public visibility of your storefront's online product pages.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your store credentials and database records. All transmissions are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS) protocols, and database access is restricted using strict authorization controls.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your store records and catalog files only for as long as the App is active on your store. When you uninstall OKF Bundle Maker, our automated uninstallation hook triggers immediately to permanently delete your store records, access tokens, product listings, and all generated hosted markdown files from our database and storage buckets.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
